Word nerd meets technophile. After better than 20 years at Magnani, Justin enjoys mixing skills to make every day different. Meeting in the boardroom. Writing copy on scrap paper. QA-ing the latest app. Using creativity and humor to make sure even long-time clients get pitched like it's the first date.
An empathetic pragmatist with a sense of humor. Felicia has focused on the client, their needs and their audience for more than 18 years at Magnani. When others wish aloud for clients packing unlimited time and funds, Felicia asks, "Where's the fun in that?" In her free time, she rehabs her century-old octagonal house and makes sure her kids, too, are raised strong enough to last.
Brian has spent the last 20+ years at Magnani using his creativity to solve problems for brands he respects. His work has won numerous awards and taken many forms from apps to print, broadcast to in-store. Once the most talented athlete at his art school, Brian now spends his weekends chasing his kids around playgrounds and ballparks.
Ted is your typical musician-turned-creative-turned-account man-turned-finance professional. He understands all parts of the Magnani business having lived them in former lives. When he's not making sure the books even out, he's turning up the amp with his band. In his words, "we may not be good, but we're punctual."
In most meetings, Christy acts as the voice of the customer—asking tough questions about products and strategy, leveling a stern gaze at creative. Her job is to translate research, market trends and business data into new ways of viewing difficult problems. Then build the plan to make things better. She has great shoes. And in the long-simmering internet war of kitten vs. puppy pictures, Christy votes pony.
Officially, Sara is responsible for client relationships — keeping clients involved, informed and satisfied. Unofficially, she is the fixer — tasked with leaning on whatever resources are necessary to get things done. Picture Sara as a nurturing Harvey Keitel. She mentors a crack team of account professionals, galvanized to build success. In her free time, she likes to laugh. At movies. She likes all types.
For better than a decade, Justin has provided Magnani with an ability to see the big picture among the many assorted details. He uses his talent for connection to inspire real people to take smarter actions. In his free time, Justin loves assembling IKEA furniture. He takes a hundred odd-shaped parts. Adds vague, unhelpful instructions. Then with dead reckoning and a simple tool, he creates an avant-garde sofa named Flurfk.
If you wanted to try walking a mile in Lauren’s shoes, you might find yourself leaving the Frye® boots behind to go dancing in Chuck Taylors™ at a concert, flipping in swim fins while scuba diving, or shredding some powder in snowboard boots. Who knew merging so many divergent interests into one creative director could yield so many great ideas? Probably not you, since you’d be too exhausted to think by now.
Kat learned long ago that there are no repeated encounters in life. As such, he works to get them right the first time. He brings a designer's eye to crafting digital interactions—building engaging and thoughtful user experiences. In his free time, he deftly captures the world from behind a camera lens. Also, he's tall.
Meticulous. Curious. Persistent. Gail brings a wealth of experience to bear helping clients gain a deeper understanding of audiences and motivations. She joined Magnani following 10 years as senior vice president at Lipman Hearne, Inc. doing enrollment and strategic marketing consulting. Her wry sense of humor is also hard-earned. She is a life-long Cubs fan. Maybe next year.
